But no visit to "The Fort" would be complete without dropping in on the Stockyards National Historic District, the former stockyard area revitalized into a nightlife and entertainment district, home of the storied White Elephant Saloon and the world's largest honkytonk, Billy Bob's Texas, and featuring twice-daily cattle drives by the city-owned Fort Worth Herd. The city also has an excellent parks system and a historic downtown centered on Sundance Square, thick with shops and restaurants.
